Ninja Immersion

Shuriken throwing, stealth training, and ninja history in an authentic dojo

The ninja were not myth. They were specialists — trained from childhood in concealment, wilderness navigation, psychology, and the precise application of force when all other options had failed. This immersive half-day in an Iga-trained dojo begins with a costumed introduction to that history before moving into the discipline itself.

Your certified instructor will guide you through shuriken throwing at a traditional wooden target, the fundamentals of ashiuki silent walking technique, and the principles of kenjutsu sword form. The session also includes a detailed look at authentic historical tools from the instructor's private collection — kunai, kusarigama, and the makibishi caltrops used to slow pursuit — with explanations grounded in the realities of the Sengoku period rather than cinema.
